My girlfriend and I stayed here twice during our stay in Pokhara. The hotel is very quiet and has a lovely inner garden. The room was large with two windows and lots of sunlight. The room had a queen and a single bed. Everything was very clean including the large bathroom with hot water shower. Wifi was slow at times but it's the same all over Nepal.

Raj was very friendly and helpful in making our stay enjoyable.

Highly recommend this hotel.

My father and I were very pleasantly surprised, it was the first time in Nepal that we had experienced hot water on demand, a decent English cup of tea in a big mug and proper toast!
It was a very clean, comfortable place, with an outstanding view of the snowy mountains from our bedroom windows. We recommend booking into the two rooms on the top floor (10 and 11)
The manager, Raj, was a very experienced manager and was very welcoming, attentive and knowledgable.
He is also an experienced ex-guide, so if you are looking for advice on a trek then Raj is your guy.
The advice he gave us for our route was priceless.
My father will be visiting pokhara for more trekking next year and says 'See you soon Raj!'

Room Tip: The top floor rooms have the best view! :)

It was second time to stay in New Pokhara Lodge. When we first stayed here on this February, staff (especially manager Mr.Humraj, owner Mr. Mahendra) was so great hospitality and they gave us fine arrangement. So we wanted to stay here again. On this time we went trekking, and Mr.Humraj arranged a friendly guide (he speaks Japanese very well) and a companionable porter. So we could enjoy perfect trekking. It was so exciting, happy time for us. After trekking, we enjoyed a relaxing hot shower. The room was clean and warm, so we could take rest at ease. At night we could see so many stars on the rooftop and our room. By day beautiful garden relaxed our mind. Now, New pokhara lodge is our second sweet home. When we visit Pokhara next time, of course we will stay in New Pokhara Lodge!!

Room Tip: Wonderful view from rooms on the top floor.

We stayed at New Pokhara Lodge in October 2014. Got safely to Pokhara after terrifying 14 hour bus ride, it was heaven when we arrived at the hotel and saw the lush courtyard and clean comfortable rooms. Raj was so wonderful, always helpful. We were able to book our paragliding through him and bus and tourist (safe) bus tickets can also be arranged with Raj. The hotel is a minutes walk from Lakeside District and all the shopping and restaurants, but is tucked away in a quiet peaceful spot. Gorgeous view from the hotel rooftop and morning pots of coffee in the courtyard amongst the flowers can not be beat! Highly recommend to anyone staying in Pokhara.
