A little out of the way, could easily get lost looking for it.

Clean hotel with helpful staff and hot showers. Currently extended the hotel but noise is during the day.

A good location as it’s a little walk from town but this keeps the noise to a minimum.

Lots to see around the hotel and the staff arrange taxis and assist where needed. Breakfast is good and food is available throughout the day.

The hotel is on the back street via a rough road, but provides good clean basic conditions and the staff are really good. The hotel is very close to Tammel shopping centre, which is good for shopping and food.

My wife and I recently stayed at the Rama Inn during a Lumle Classic tour of Nepal. The hotel is ideally located for all the major tourist locations in Kathmandu, and importantly, walking distance from the Thamel tourist temptation spots.
The hotel is fine! The rooms were clean, with big comfortable beds, plenty of hot running water and tea and coffee facilities.
We only had breakfast while there, so can't comment on the general meals available. However, if breakfast is anything to go by, the meals will be fine.
The staff are very helpful, polite and very take no for an answer. Thank you to all the staff we met.
As others have commented; the hotel is not much to look at from the outside, there is some adjacent building work going on (which makes the route to hotel interesting), but on the inside it is like a sea of tranquillity.
Thanks

Room tip: The dogs bark on the side of the hotel where the rooms ending in 2 are.. so go for the 3s!

We stayed in this hotel for a total of four nights during a cultural tour of Nepal. The first two nights were in a room on the sixth floor and the last two nights were on the fourth floor. The rooms were spacious and clean with large comfortable beds. The TV in the first room did not work but there were no issues in our second room. We had two complimentary bottles of water each day and there were tea and coffee making facilities.
The hotel is in the city centre and does not look very inspiring from the outside but it has a well equipped dinning area, although very small, and the food was very good. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We were woken by dogs barking each night and there was some building work next to the hotel that started early but we generally had a good nights sleep.
A nice, comfortable hotel.

Room tip: We found the forth floor better in terms of better showers and Wi-Fi.

We have recently stayed twice at the Rama Inn in Kathmandu as part of a cultural tour of Nepal.

The hotel is located in Durber Marg and pretty close to some very good restaurant's and shops, plus a short taxi ride from Thamel.

This is a very clean boutique hotel with lovely staff who will help you with everything.

So whilst from the outside the hotel doesn't look too swish the people and comfort of the rooms make up for it.

WiFi is great...a key factor for any teenagers, TV stations are great and work well. Rooms are big and the beds are comfy.

The hotels restaurant is tiny but don't be put off....the food is cheap and stunning particularly the "Butter Chicken Masala with Cumin rice".

All in all I would highly recommend this place to stay.
