Nothing much to see. They do not accept any sealed dollar which is very annoying.
There is an expensive handicrafts shop just opposite of post office. That one has good collection of local items.

I never send post cards any more, but I thought having personalized stamps would be so much fun that we got postcards just so we could mail our personalized stamps.

I popped into the museum too. It’s worth visiting. It’s much more interesting than it sounds, especially the people who used to deliver the kings mail on foot, before there were any roads in Bhutan.

Good place to get some commemorative stamps and coins. We wanted to get our own personalized stamps however we were told the local copies would not be sharp and we were asked to bring in our own photos to make it into stamps.

The special thing in this P.O is that you can make stamps by using your own photo & use it to send postcards. Each stamp costs 30BTN (0.4USD), but you have to create a sheet of 12 stamps. But, you only use this stamp in Bhutan.

For a stamp collector, Bhutan has a bunch of interesting ones, perhaps to generate revenue.

The knockout punch, however, comes from the personalized stamps you can make with a picture on your phone. They’ll make it into a sheet of stamps!

Great souvenir, something different, or, a gift for those who already have everything!
