As far as BnBs go - it ticks all the boxes on paper, but the general feel of this place is that of a retirement village. Nothing happening, quiet, scarce and not close to the vibe of Windhoek. If you're looking for a spot like that - then you've come to the right place.
The owners of the place are friendly enough - and they helped us get into our rooms ahead of the check in time (2pm), because we arrived at 11am and wanted to sleep.
However, the biggest flaw in this place is the service from the check-in counter workers. The WIFI here was not working at all - which in itself is a massive problem for a BnB for international travellers - but on top of that, the check-in staff seemed not to know about the problem with the WIFI, and those that did know were uninterested and misinformed.
People: WIFI is a BIG deal to travellers, and if it's not working - I expect to see you making phone calls, getting the right people in to FIX it. I was there for 2 nights - and throughout my entire time - the WIFI wasn't fixed, and no one did anything about it - even though I had to regularly go and ask to see if it was working yet.
This slack service is something that I noticed across the board in Windhoek - with Cashiers, Waiters and most staff in general seem bored, uninterested and absolutely not willing to go the extra mile.
Unfortunately, I won't be returning to this place in the future, if I can help it.
