This hotel would be lovely if it was close to restaurants there is nothing at all around it and you must catch taxi everywhere beaches were awful and rough
Getting into hotel was terrible as they have no reception and the security guards were not helpful at all actually quite rude
Hotel is in downtown Maputo, on a very busy street, parking is on the pavement, told it's safe and there is a guard 24/7.It's a small Hotel, will rate it at 3 star, very clean and reception is helpful and efficient. The initial room was on the lower level, very noisy as it's next to the dining room and the lift, there are machinery that starts every now and again very noisy, the bed was comfortable and room was a bit too small, with no view. Requested to be moved to another room and was moved, however what was available was a twin with extra hard beds, fridge inoperative, No rubbish bin in the room , electrical outlets are hard to find in the rooms, only 1 outlet is available. Breakfast is basic, with no identification tags, otherwise for the price compared to other hotels it's acceptable. Wi-fi is free and connect well.
The location was good, close to a grocery store, breakfast okay, staff is somehow helpful but the room service has kept knocking offering towels. A quite disturbance since it was done like three times in the middle of my sleep, although no request was done. Overall the location is the win ~
At a great location in the centre of town (24 Julho) makes it easy to get to most places economically (200Mt for taxi fare around town). It's also clean, with clean bedding and comfortable beds. Friendly staff will try their best to help you. However there are a few loose threads; our twin room didn't have enough crockery (one cup instead of two); they forgot to stock some teabags; and the kettle did not have a power outlet (we had to unplug the fridge to boil water). The breakfast was poor but the coffee was brilliant (Nespresso style capsules). So don't expect anything special. The price is good (in a city with ridiculous extortionist hotel prices) and you'll get a good clean place to stay.
Hi, being there with friends beginning of December. When we get there they sent us to other hotel of the group what a terrible place: dirty/no hot water/rooms smelling/dark... could name lots more but the most disappointing was the way we where treated by the employees and manager saying unfortunately the other hotel was full and that was the only option!! After we payed and had confirmation by Hotels.com
My advise next customers please look for other alternatives as this group has no credibility of their bookings or take your chances... thanks
