The outdoor buffet was good especially the curried crocodile and the dancers really put everytthing into it the night we were there. I was with a group of 20 and we really enjoyed it.

Good food served buffet style. Decent selection and very tasty. Staff very friendly and restaurant good value. One night we were there the food was served outdoors with local singers and dancers - a very good night.

The breakfast buffet with eggs to order station was the best meal we had at the Simujinga Restaurant. For two breakfasts, my eggs were prepared perfectly, as ordered. Dinner had dnacers for entertainment, which was nice, but the food was just okay. For example, warthog fillet was overcooked.

They cater for all the a la carte and the buffet dinners were awsome. The food was fresh and nice. With alittle advance notice you will get what you want

Not the worst place to stay but if I came back again, I'd explore other options.

When we first arrived we were pleasantly greeted by staff and a porter helped us with our bags to our room. Our check in was polite, efficient and courteous.

Shortly after arrival we decided to have lunch at the hotel. I ordered a chicken wrap which was great. My boyfriend ordered a platter which was meant to have five different items. The platter came but with only two items.

When we enquired about the meal, we were told that there had been changes to the menu and that the platter no longer consisted of the five items. We asked why we weren't told this when we placed the order. We asked to speak to the resturant manager who repeated the same as the waiter. We said we would refuse to pay for the platter. The manager agreed to take it from the bill.

When we went back to the room we realized that there wasn't a shower curtain in the tub/shower. I went to the front desk and they said they would send one up. Hours later it did not show. We called the front desk and they said house keeping would send it. Another hour later, it didn't show up. When the staff arrived to put out our bed netting, we mentioned the shower curtain. Within minutes we had one.

The sheets and surfaces around the room were clean but the telephone was filthy and in desperate need of a wash.

When soaking in the tub, the open area under the sink was in direct view and it was clear the area was in great need of being cleaned.

The pipes make whistling sounds when anyone showers and when the tub drains.

There is no hairdryer. There is a safe, bar fridge, kettle and limited tea and coffee, sugar etc.

The bed netting was full of holes and we incurred several bites throughout the night. This was mentioned to the front desk as well.

The pool side bar is a lovely atmosphere to have a drink and a chat. On two occasion when we went to pay our bill, the staff took the money and 15-20 minutes later when we were ready to leave we were still waiting on our change. When I addressed this they said "I'm waiting for change to come." Perhaps they could have mentioned this up front or waited to take our money until they could provide the change.

The bar closes at 10 and there is nowhere else to sit for a chat outside of your room after this time.

The air conditioner in our room was very weak and didn't offer much cool air. Even on bust, the room still wasn't cool.

Breakfast has a wide variety of hot and cold choices to choose from with omelettes made to order. Service was great!

The staff are very pleasant and always smiling and asking how you are. This was perhaps the best part of our stay.

Thank LG-lifesgreat
