This hotel is not much to look at from the outside but it certainly impresses once your inside. From the moment you step in your greeted with a huge smile and lovely lovely staff. Our room was perfect although initially I was disappointed at being on the ground floor, I ended up delighted because of all the wildlife we saw at very close hand. The food is exquisite, it's very well presented and is so darn tasty. The decor is beautiful with lots of natural wood. It's spotlessly clean too. The only fault and it's nit picking is the pool could do with a bit updating, otherwise it's a perfect hotel in a fab location overlooking the spray of the falls. And just to top it off the hotel gave us a complimentary river cruise down the Zambizi with free food and drink. Once again as we found throughout Africa it's the people that made it. It's a small boutique hotel with around 56 rooms and is just perfect. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it and that puts it in my top 5 hotels I've ever stayed in.
Thank you very much ilala.

Beautiful hotel, clean and spacious. Our family suite easily had room for 3 (or even more). Backing onto local craft market with unassuming, respectful vendors. Felt safe. Dumi was the hardest working porter I've ever seen. Great employee! Bigboy from Thompsons travel was an outstanding guide. Be sure to see the Falls during/after wet season for full impact. Bring an extra pair of shoes, you are going to need them!

Stayed here during visit to the Falls. The hotel is nice enough but maybe not due the star rating it claims. Manager met us on arrival and on seeing my wife had mobility issues immediately changed our room to a more accessible one. The room was fine, nice big bed, AC worked fine and amenities were good. Bathroom was well fitted out, however we had an issue with the shower. The two taps were on the rear wall, my wife whilst washing her hair inadvertently turned up the hot water, the water immediately got scalding hot and she had to get out of the shower. Now to try and turn the hot water down I had to reach through the scalding water to reach the taps! I eventually managed but got scalded in the process! This is obviously a design fault.

Thank you very much for your review. We are terribly sorry to hear about the unfortunate experience that your wife had in the shower and will certainly be looking into ways that we can avoid this happening in the future.

I stayed here for two days/nights as part of a Globus tour group. The hotel is quite lovely, with several buildings with stone floors and thatched roofs. The guests rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a private deck or balcony, and all the usual amenities. WiFi is complimentary but the signal strength can vary significantly in different areas of the hotel. The breakfast buffet was quite nice with numerous items to choose from. The hotel is a great base from which to tour Victoria Falls, which is just a few minutes away. Within walking distance are plenty of shops, banks, convenience stores, and street markets.

Stayed 7 nights at this lovely oasis. We had a suite and could see the 'smoke that thunders' from our balcony. Wonderful breakfasts and dinners. So close to the falls and a short walk into town. Probably the best place to stay. The staff couldn't have been more attentive and cheerful.
