I came here for a few days and it was amazing. The view and fresh air by the Riverside was so relaxing. We had a birthday and Azambezi surprised us with a birthday card and a cake too!made the day extra special! There was a shuttle to town and it made visiting other places so much easier.

Thank you!will definitely be back and do recommend staying here

Great Place and phantastic base for exploring the Falls. No street burglars on premises, none directly outside. You will find a small island of peace and tranquility just outside the city of Vic Falls. A free shuttle bus gets you downtown or to the falls or border to Sambia.
WiFi is not very stable but (allmost) ok.
Rooms are big and clean and fully equipped. Dinner is good (buffet with various types of meat and vegetables) but a bit expensive. I suggest to have dinner in the city. Breakfast is fine and the whole place really meets advanced expectations. You might even observe semi-wild animals on the loan or in the river. My suggestion: stay two full days (3 nights) and take your time to experience the falls also from Zimbabwe side, from Sambia and from helicopter (!).

Room Tip: Frontrow-rooms are close to the pool (+ river view), backrow rooms are quieter (but no river view here)

We were a party of 6 spending two nights at the A'Zambezi. Great location right on the banks I the river. Rooms perfectly adequate, clean, well maintained, fast wifi and all a/c. All rooms had small balcony or patio. Small hotel so a few minute stroll from room to restaurant and bar. Small pool and limited number of loungers. Staff super friendly. Beer and food not cheap ($20 for lunch and a couple of beers) but staff do excellent job at keeping happy atmosphere. Restaurant is either buffet or al la carte. Breakfast very good too. All in all hard to fault it. Booked walking tour of falls and sunset dinner cruise with shearwater.

A great place to stay right on the river with visits from wart hogs and monkey troupes.Easy access into town with shuttle provided.Food in restaurant very good with quite a varied menu. All staff extremely helpful.Room modern with all that you could want but cramped for twin share. Air conditioner very welcome as it was the rainy season and very hot and humid.A very pleasant place to stay whilst exploring Victoria Falls and surrounding areas

Our stay at this hotel was soothing to our souls in more ways than one and in all aspects from:

- The warm welcome that we received from the friendly staff the minute we stepped in to make our inquiries and to book,
- The views we beheld everyday of our stay from the well constructed thatched buildings to the manicured lawns past the swimming pool and to the Zambezi River,
- The lighting and ambience in the rooms that made the rooms seem airy and bigger than they are and
- the clean bathrooms and linen.

Finally not forgetting the very helpful staff that complemented all the above mentioned aspects including the tireless guard by the gate who always cheerfully saluted in greeting and goodbye every time we arrived or left the property.

We cant wait for our next visit!!
