Friends took us here for Sunday lunch and on arrival it looked like we had entered a wedding with flamboyant table settings and a band stand to go. I'm not sure if that happens every Sunday or if were just fortunate. After travelling along pretty potholed and grotty roads though an industrial site and what looked like a lorry yard we arrived at this little haven of frivolity and peace - a house and garden now converted into a restaurant.

What an excellent experience the whole thing was. The food was Portuguese style and delicious as always we had the peri peri chicken and chips. Giblets for starters and delicious bread to soak up the gravy. The wine was flowing and we spent the whole afternoon there - lunch time from 1 to 5 pm and what a lovely afternoon.

Highly recommended.

The setting is lovely yet to get there is a little obscure - the service is warm and friendly and they did have a vegan option too - the mushroom sauce is great but not really a sauce more of a sautéed mushroom but delicious - well worth the visit

It was my first trip for business to Zimbabwe. The place is situated in an industrial area, not very appealing, right... But wait it is completely closes off with high walls and a solid gate at the entrance. Driving in you aren't sure why to expect, but as soon as you walk through the doors you know that you've found a rose among the thorns. The seating area is very spacious and open on the side, like sitting in a dolled up warehouse with the whole side of the building missing, looking out on the garden. The staff and I mean all the staff, from the Gardner, owner, cleaner and waiters are extremely friendly!!
The food was great, fresh produce and waiting time is to a minimum. Although expensive, it is well worth for anyone seeking something different from the norm.

The several bookings that I have had with this restaurant has always been a hit. Mainly for business lunches as our office is in Southerton area, but we so enjoy their food that I have had a few family lunches too. The first acknowledgement is the food quality, most enjoyable and tasty, always compliments all round. The only possible downer would be the location for dinners I have not attempted going there in the evenings, but I hear they have some fabulous functions including dinner dance. A couple of bookings they even accepted pre-orders which was perfect considering we only had one hour lunches a great help.
