When we first arrived, I will admit that it was a bit of an adjustment as we were used to lodges and we're not really outdoorsy people (I know, then what the hell were we doing in the Serengeti?) BUT the tents were really nice, very clean, and the bed was HUGE and so comfortable. Also, they have hot water at all times so you can shower whenever - apparently, you have to call staff for hot water everywhere else in the Serengeti.

The best part about the Sound of Silence is the staff - they are so friendly and hilarious. Florah was our girl - she was so funny and great company. Gift was another gem because he brought us a fan immediately after we recommended they have them in the rooms. We were in SHOCK that he brought us a fan and forever grateful. Oh, also - the food is DIVINE here. BEST food that we had our entire trip. A good variety and had lots of flavor.

WiFi was a little janky but it also forces you to be social with everyone and enjoy people's company vs be invested in your phone. Loved loved loved our experience at the Sound of Silence.

Non migration, fixed lodge in middle serengeti with professional staff. The lodge offers a nice savanna view. The tents are confortable and provide all standard equipment. A Maasai guard brings you to your tent after sunset. Dinner is european standard. Beverages are not included and paying afterwards let to some friendly discussion: suggestion: make it all inclusive. A bush manager is not a city manager. No other remarks.

We spent two nights in Sound of Silence during our Safari in Serengeti. It was part of our honeymoon. The tents are really luxury and we had everything we needed. We had an amazing view in the morning with zebras and giraffes not far from the lodge. The food was excellent, nothing to complain. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They made us feel like home, we were spoiled. Lastly, we really liked the campfire in the evening.

Probably one of the best hotels I have ever been to. Location, rooms, food, but specially the staff made it an extremelly enjoyable stay for us.

There are many lodges and Bush Camps around, but for us, Gift, Floriah and the team make the difference, its not only a night stay, its an experience with them and with the place. From the manager to the trainee, they are all working as one.

The rooms are exquisite, with the greatest attention to detail. And the food, one of the best dinners we've had in Tanzania.

We highly recommend Sound of Silence and will surely repeat on our next trip to Serengeti.

We had a great experience at Sound of Silence. What's nicer then waking up and see the zebra, buffel and wildebeast moving at a 100 meter from your tent, White you heard the hyenas hunting during the nicht. All is safe. Food was delicious and the crew was happy and smiling. We recommand Sound of Silence if you gonna stay overnight at the Serengeti
