“Perfect traditional riad - ideal location - great service”
Reviewed 4 March 2018 for a stay in February 2018

We were a group of five friends and this property was superbly set out for our needs. Fantastic location - it is indeed only 3 mins walk from the bustle of Jemaa El-Fna square, with plenty of interest on the local side streets, and felt as safe as anywhere else we visited.

We arranged airport transfers with the host (€15 each way) which was a clean minibus with friendly driver. The minibus dropped us to the end of the main square, where a porter met us and took all our luggage in a hand cart to the riad.

The property is tucked just off one of the main shopping lanes, but oh-so peaceful, and beautiful inside. The four bedrooms (each one en-suite) was ideal for our group, and in fact there was plenty of room for more people. Lots of traditional touches, all clean and with every amenity provided. Wifi was great and even worked on the roof terrace, which was a great sun trap and also lovely to sit on in the evening with a bottle of wine (available at duty free of from Carrefour, around 15 mins walk away). Also several reasonably priced restaurants/bars on the main square if you like a drink ;-)

We highly recommend taking up the host on their suggestion of 1st night dinner in the riad - at €20 each it was good value, and we were impressed that they were happy to cater for a late request to have a chicken tagine prepared for on of our non-veggies who didn't eat lamb.

All in all, a fantastic, well organised and good value. Thank you Aleksander, Amal and Ahmed, for your hospitality!!
