Dar Soulahfa was perfect for our family of 4. Loads of room, came with all required amenities. Stuart the owner provided us with great help and tips to set us up for our first trip to Marrakesh, this made our holiday a great success.
The plunge pool was really pleasant after a hectic day on the busy streets.
The property was surrounded by great restaurants (BlackChic in particular was delicious)
The 2 ladies who keep prepare your breakfast and keep the house tidy were very welcoming and friendly. The kids loved them.
The Wi-Fi was better than mine in the centre of Dublin so no complaints there.
Roof terrace was also very comfortable and a great place to chill.
Recommend to all if you want the full old town experience.

As the title says... lovely Riad just 10 minutes from the square, down a lovely street with lots of little places to eat. 3 good bedrooms and the added bonus of a bath tub, which is so hard to find in most riads. Would definitely return with my 2 little ones, excellent value for money.
This is a good place to stay if you want to be in the medina, about 10 minutes walk from Jemaa el Fna, yet in a quiet place - except for the call to prayer! Stuart answered so many of my questions, I think I was a real pest, but he was gracious about it. He arranged for a driver to meet us at the airport which was really helpful. We had asked for dinner the night we arrived and it was delicious. Breakfasts were adequate. My daughter took some little jars of flavored honey to give to people and she gave some to Atiqa and Kadijah who were just delighted with the small offering. (We did tip them, too, but the honey brought them real joy it seemed) I'd love to give this 5 stars for the service, but the paint needs a bit of freshening and really detracts from the otherwise wonderful spot.

This Riad did not disappoint - well furnished, plenty of character, lots of space. The plunge pool and the terrace (including your own Berber tent) were a blessed relief from the hot hot sun at this time of the year. Lots of interesting areas to explore. We were spoilt because there were only two of us but we think this could accommodate a family easily. Little touches like a decent Dvd, music and book collection were a pleasant diversion if you pop back from walking around the Medina to the lovely peace and quiet of the Riad. The cook/housekeeper were a joy - very friendly and flexible around any breakfast or dinner requests. The only reason we couldn't give this five stars was the lack of self catering facilities in the kitchen. Not a huge issue as we were a stones throw from the Numerous cafes etc of Marrakech and we had the option of breakfast and dinner being prepared for us. A bonus is the option of a guide/driver for day trips we recommend the Atlas Mountains but personally the coast trip wasn't our cup of tea. Very friendly engaging driver/guide - highly recommended all round - Riad good value for money. Owner provided regular and useful communication from booking right through to departure.
