I found the' Fez Inn' very pleasant to stay in.
I was there along with a tour group Exodus.
The Foyer & entrance beautifully decorated in Moroccan style, The place has a Bar!!, so at the end of the day you can sit & relax with a drink if you like too
And Yes the pool is just across the road.inconvenient, but doable.
The staff very helpful, & polite.
The hotel is walking distance of places to eat. etc.
Beds comfortable. One thing I wasn't happy about was that like a lot of other affordable accommodation in Morocco it didn't have a fridge in the room. If your there in the hot season.( it's still was in September,) a fridge is important, to keep your water cool, as you need to drink lots. you do get sick of drinking' hot water'. Other wise I could have stayed longer than the two nights I did.
Wifi was a problem for some people in our group & others no problem. The Foyer is better reception, as in a lot of Moroc Hotels i found.
And I do commend it as a really nice Hotel to stay.More
