The room we stayed in wasn't so much a room as a suite with a separate living room, spacious bathroom, and bedroom upstairs. The beauty of the inner courtyard extended to the rooms, with detailed tile work and stunning colors. Everyone who works there is incredibly friendly, and most spoke English. I would highly recommend you do dinner at the riad at least once. It's a bit pricey at 250 dirham a person, but it is delicious. Best couscous I had my entire week in Morocco.

The patio and common areas are beautiful. We got a room on the second floor, spacious and clean. The only inconvenience was the bathroom one level below the bedroom (still private). The breakfast could be better. It doesn't look fresh. They have some prepared food that they warm up with a microwave. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The riad is conveniently located at walking distance from Bab Boujeloud not too deep in the Medina. It is easy to reach and there are good parking options not too far.

We booked 3 rooms for our family of 6. Rooms not available before 3pm. Beautiful riad well located to visit the medina. Two bedrooms ok but one under the roof not so nice. Bathrooms need some refurbishment. Breakfast was a very bad experience. Less than bear minimum. Service was poor and slow. It is obviously all about saving expenses and it shows badly. Pretend smile...and never an apology is making this experience very average despite the beauty of the riad. Fake sense of service is a terrible thing when you pretend to care for customers.

Booked here for 9 nights - got there - the room was totally mis-represented with the images on both the Riad's site as well as booking.com's site. We wanted two beds and were escourted to the top floor with a double bed in a loft. Not what we booked !!
The staff were very helpful in finding alternative accommodation for us.

We have stayed at Dar Al Andalous twice now, and hope to return again in the future. The riad is just beautiful and in an excellent location. You would never know such a lovely property is hidden behind the wall in the alley, which is true throughout the medina. The owners and staff are just fantastic, and made us feel like we were part of the family!
