Fantastic bed and breakfast in a prime location along the St. Joe river. We went here 2 years ago to pack raft and fly fish and will be back again every summer. Fantastic fly fishing! A great fly shop and restaurant are very close which was convenient. The breakfast was wonderful. The rooms were comfortable and upgraded but still had some original school house decor that we loved.
I didn’t have the opportunity to stay here because it was fully booked by other members of our group however after having spent the evening there socializing and having dinner, I wish a vacancy had become available. The rooms are clean and comfortable.
Kathy prepared a great meal for all of us in a room large enough to accommodate all twenty of us and more. Our hosts were very friendly and attentive.
Kathy and Randy have created a wonderful place on the St Joe river. As hosts they were incredible. I particularly enjoyed the get together with guests and hosts on the old playground.
The rooms were bright and well appointed.

Kathy and Randy made us feel welcome in their beautiful B&B. The rooms were clean and modern, the food was excellent, and our hosts were wonderful. We stopped in Avery midway through a motorcycle trip with 6 guys. We fly fished on the St Joe River for a day before departing. I would stay here again.
We arrived in Avery by bicycle a little early and our hostess did her best to get us into our room early. The BnB is a re-purposed school with lovely high ceilings and huge windows. They have done a great job adding en-suite luxurious bathrooms (at least to the room we were in). Our hostess also provided a great breakfast in our room the next day to make sure we were as safe as possible given the covid situation. I highly recommend this BnB.
