We spent the night in a beautiful cabin with nothing to do except enjoy the peace and quiet. Jo made us an amazing dinner and getting to know her was simply priceless. Breakfast the next morning included home made scones and was delicious.

A fabulous place to getaway! We rented the Gone Fishin’ Cabin for a small group, it was cozy, and quaint, touching on elegant. The beds were comfortable and the food was spectacular! Truly, the meals were top notch. We had prime rib with double stuffed potatoes and all the trimmings.

Whether you stay in the lodge or rent a cabin, each one has everything you need. Just bring your clothes and your companions as the rest is taken care of for you.

The inn is located in a gorgeous area, nestled in nature yet only a short way off the beaten path, which makes access easy.

The host, Jo Moore, is absolutely delightful; it is worth the trip just to meet her.

We loved our stay at the High Country Inn. Wonderful homemade breakfasts each morning by the owner, beautiful setting, relaxed environment, fun little game room, cozy cabins, kid friendly and perfectly located by the Dworshak Reservoir for our days adventuring and boating on the water. We brought our own little grill and supplies for BBQ near the kitchenette and felt right at home. We took advantage of the hot tub, too, after a long day of water sports on the lake. The owner Jo's hospitality is admirable as she is 81years old and makes sure all her guests' needs are met for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

Can't say enough about how wonderful this place is.
We were to have dinner at 6:30, arrived at 6pm, Jo had the gonzaga game on for us! Dinner was amazing!
Played pool on their beautiful table, had tons of games!
Beds were so comfortable! Super clean cabins.
Breakfast was amazing and all her food was from scratch.
Didn't disappoint!

Food prepared nicely and with care! Jo, the owner, interacts with customers and staff as if they are family. Go there with a group of as a B&B visitor and you won't be disappointed.
