It has become so difficult to find local restaurants that offer local cuisine these days. Senor Coconut is one of the few restaurants in Belize city where you can count on getting great Belizean food at a very reasonable price. Great service and delicious food. Stewed beans and fish fillet is consistently good.

This place sells local and home made food at an affordable price, rates around 8-10 USD per plate and the place is clean BUT only opens for lunch. It is worth to go visit here and enjoy the lunch at this place specially if your family is large.

This is a little jewel, only open for lunch. It is near the Belize Museum and our lunch was excellent. Delicious rice and bean, juicy chicken, good fruit drinks. Prices were very fair. Highly recommend.

First off, this place is inexpensive, it's in Belize Dollars not American (right now that's 1/2 Price) It's walking distance from the Port and very close to the Belize Museum.

I had their most expensive fish meal, fresh juice, and a side for 9USD, which isn't bad at all considering the amount. You could easily get something for 5 dollars or less that would be delicious.

My food came out very quickly, and came with rice, bean soup, and a fried plantain. The plantain was amazing, btw, best I've had. Fish was good, very good when the lime and fresh habanero salsa was added on top. Bean soup was delicious.

When I came into this place it was a bit early for lunch, and I was greeted and seated quickly. By the time my food came the phone may have rang 10 times with people ordering lunch and the place filled with takeout orders. This is where the locals come to eat, this is where you should eat. Don't go expecting a fancy meal, but expect to be satisfied with whatever they serve you.

I had the fresh tamarind juice which was also delicious, served with ice. I'm not sure if I would have gotten it if I didn't have my Hepatitis C vaccinations.

A+ would eat again.

This is a small family restaurant. Family cooking. Great food. Fabulous value for money. Few tables but patrons don't mind sharing their table. At lunchtime, it is filled to capacity with employees from all over the city. I love the whole fish or fish fillet dishes. Aww the homemade pepper sauce is the bomb. But no dessert. The juices are authentic, fresh squeezed.
