We had dinner here one night and then ended up going back twice for drinks. Fun atmosphere and good food. The service is really great too. Power actually went out in the area while we were and they never missed a beat with cold beers still flowing. Make sure this is one of your stops if you are visiting Ambergris.

We happened upon The Dive Bar by accident and ended up staying all evening! Paulo was a very hospitable bartender and the food was delicious!

We were staying right next door at Tres Cocos and ate at the Dive Bar a couple of times. Their food was delicious, their staff were helpful, and they had an awesome little swing set right out front! We tried the quesadillas, tacos, club sandwich, and nachos and all were fantastic!

Great location, right on the water and lots of kayaks and stand up paddle boards to use...for free! The swings over the water also takes you back to your childhood, swinging with your friends!

There is a rooftop viewing area, at the end of the pier, with chairs, where you can hang out and take in a beautiful view of the Caribbean Sea!

The staff was great, the beers were ice cold, we listened to Chris sing oldies rock and country music, we played on their water toys.......who could ask for more in Paradise!

Definitely worth a visit!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It wasn’t the greatest weather (rainy and overcast) so imagine some of my pictures on a sunny and hot day. Anyway...food arrived within 10 minutes. I had the Belizian Rice and Beans ($9 USD) and wife had fish tacos ($12.50 USD). Both meals were tasty and plentiful. We had a couple of landshark beers ($2.50 USD). Nice beach bar vibe and good location for us as it is North of the bridge where we are staying so no toll. Compared to the prices we paid for dinner and drinks last night at our lodging I’m surprised it doesn’t have a $ rating, but maybe those are reserved for roadside stands. Although we want to try other bars/restaurants this is a do again for us.
