Dining in the garden under the trees with a view of the ocean. The Tapas were incredible, Conch and Shrimp, served with toast to enjoy that incredible sauce. Sooo good! The Coconut Seafood Cream Soup is filled with an abundance of fresh seafood with amazing flavor! This was definitely one of our favorite stops.

The restaurant is off the beaten road, we saw it when we were biking to town. It's on the North side. Really friendly and nice staff. We had the shrimp in garlic oil and paella. Favors are good. It's not like Spanish food in New York or anything, but pretty good for an island. Would definitely come back here again.

Wandered down from our inn a few lots down the road and had one of the best meals of our stay in Ambergris Caye. Shared the grego salad. I had the grilled lobster (2tails) with mashed potato and small side salad, husband had the pork stuffed with Mango and Pinapple. We took desert to go, coconut and key lime pie one slice of each to share later. Service was great, quick and attentive even though it started to fill up during our meal.

The food was good, nothing that was so amazing that I couldn't necessarily find at any of the other eateries and restaurants in the area, though. The service was great and much quicker than a lot of the other places near there. The twinkle lights and being so close to the water are really what made this place special for me. Although, because you're sitting outside, you should definitely make sure to have your insect repellant on before you sit down. I think my brother, husband, and I still all got bit despite the insect repellant, but we probably came out of the experience with fewer bug bites than we might have otherwise gotten.

Also, if you're arriving though the back, you have to traverse a small Indiana Jones-like bridge, which gives you a small taste of being in the mainland. Just keep following the many signs, and you'll find your way to the restaurant. If you're driving, there really isn't that much parking, but it looks like there's loads of parking a little farther north of the restaurant.

The bathrooms are also somewhat exposed to the open air and are in these hut structures. The sinks to wash your hands are outside of the huts.

Overall, it was a nice, somewhat rustic experience, but I think it was a one-time visit.

The food and atmosphere here are amazing. This was our favorite place that we ate dinner, so we believe it's a must do when you're on the island. We saw other reviews that said the service was bad, but we had a great experience. We ordered the bacon wrapped dates, the shrimp with olive oil and spices appetizer, one of the paellas and the coconut cream pie. The food was excellent.

My suggestions for an optimal experience: 1) Reserve a table (this is recommended at most of the restaurants on the island anyhow). 2) Get there slightly before sunset for the view. 3) Wear your bug spray. If not, they keep some on hand.
