Description: Yo-ho Rojo! In our 13th season, Rojo Beach Bar & Lounge is still the casual kind of place a beach bar ought to be. 3 gorgeous acres and hundreds of feet of beachfront with great snorkeling so don't forget your bathing suits and masks! Food is ordered AT THE BEACH BAR or by the runner outside the bar (there are NO waitstaff). Reason being is we are small and we don't get too crowded...a plus for you! So, we prefer to under promise and over deliver! Dishes are served family style, one or two at a time, with the idea that they're going to be shared over frosty drinks and lively conversation. There are no "appetizers" or "mains" per se, just tasty food. Our staff is small and everything is made from scratch. Rarely, this translates into a bit of a wait. If you are waiting for food, we suggest you enjoy a cocktail. If you are waiting for a cocktail, we suggest you relax and enjoy the view! Pet the dogs. Play some games. DO NOT PET THE PARROT. Happy Hour DAILY from 3pm - 5pm!

This is an interesting fun place. I was here in the middle of the afternoon, so it wasn't too crowded, but it looked like it would be a cool place to hang out after dark. I was surprised how good the conch ceviche was - freshly made to order, and a huge portion served with fresh-made tortilla chips. Awesome!

My husband had been bugging the group to go here so we all gave in. It seemed so far from everything but after the long drive it was a great place. It's a huge place Smack dab on the beach. They have a pool. The food was really good. Service was really friendly. We played life sized Jenga all night. It was a fun time.

I was exploring San Pedro and happened to come across Rojo - so glad I did! The ambience was on point, I really enjoyed the infinity pool and beach environment. The standout for me was the pizza, just delicious! You'll pay a little bit more for drink and food here, but it's very well worth it.

We stopped at Rojo Bar on a golf cart tour of the northern side of the island. It was so much fun, outdoor beach front bar with cool bar seating as well as a conversation area with comfy couches. Spectacular setting.
The food was good - hubby had pork tacos which were delicious. I had rum punch which was the best I had on the island - made with freshly squeezed juice and very fresh tasting.
Drinks are a bit pricey, but well worth it!

The Rojo Beach Bar is like a set out of a Hollywood Movie scene. The walk to the bar through the trees frames the Caribbean in a beautiful setting. The large Tiki Bar just yards from the water provides a terrific setting for viewing the water, palm trees and just enjoying conversation with those at bar. The couch seating around the shin deep sitting pool offers additional views of the bar and Caribbean. Visited twice during our stay at Ambergris Caye. Great memory now for someone who lives up north. Worth the trip no matter where on the island you're staying.
