First time. Pray it will be the first of many! The ingredients are locally sourced and are of a superior quality. The atmosphere of the old train depot is relaxing. The preparation of the ingredients is exquisite. I really like that they serve coffee from a local roaster (Mama Mocha’s) in a press.

Loved this place. Passing through the town for a quick college visit. This restaurant is located in a terrific, historic venue that has been updated nicely. Service was professional and spot on. I give extra credit for having a Gruner on the wine list! Appetizers were all really good-we tried oysters and shrimp. All of our entrees were interesting combinations of fish and sides like friend rice with kimchi. Our teen son, a typical teen eater, really enjoyed his dinner as well. Would come back to this restaurant any time.

Ate dinner there last night. The ambience is upscale casual. There is free valet parking. Welcoming reception. There were three in our party and two of us shared a crab dip. Excellent flavor. There is a basic menu, but the addition to the menu changes every day. I had a wonderful Wahoo and shrimp on a bed of the most flavorful rice. My dining companions had a fish stir-fry (that was deliciously spicy), and scallops with pink peppercorns. I think all of us could have licked our plates clean! I indulged in dessert - an expresso pot de crème that was truly worth the calories. I highly recommend it. The service was excellent - nicely paced. Overall, we were really happy with the experience.

Party of 8 on a Saturday night. Be sure to make reservations as this place books up fast. Daily specials were excellent. Table had a mix of the Osso Buco, Hangar steak, and scallops. All of them were delicious but the aged hangar steak was the best of the meals at our table. Appetizers and oyster selections are also upscale and better than your standard selections. Full bar and wine menu. Service was above par and plating timing was done correctly with time to eat without being rushed.

You will not be disappointed at The Depot. Great service... amazing food !
We love the Bloody Mary bar for brunch on the weekends! The Crawfish Pie and Eggs Rockefeller are just a couple of our favorites. They also offer a gluten free burger that is delicious.
And if you’re lucky, the train will come by to make it an even better experience.
