The service was excellent from the moment we arrived. Our bags were brought to our room promptly, check-in was quick and efficient and valet parking was excellent as well. The lobby of the hotel is absolutely beautiful. The gym is the best I have seen in a hotel - well equipped and very clean. Room service was prompt, the meal arrived hot and ingredients requested were found and added to our meal. The staff was very friendly as well. The location is perfect for everyone whether there on business or tourism. It is within walking distance of most museums, tourist sites and government buildings. The hop on/off bus stop is at the corner of the block the hotel sits on as well.

Room tip: We booked a king room and found it quite large and spacious for the 2 of us.

Hotel:Excellent service, very helpful staff - clean - quite - great food both at the local ground level restaurant and their breakfast. like af beautiful and well greased sailboat. on the lookout for other Willard hotels and the Intercontinental hotel chain! location spot on - dead center and easy walking access to all sights.Rooms:Very clean, and quite to sleep in - slept like a baby both nights. We had booked 2 classic rooms, both of which were exactly like promised - very beautiful , from the look at the website. Everything was available as you'd expect for a room, minibar, nespresso machine, wardrobe, ironing for your cloths etc

I love this hotel! This hotel was recommended by my boss, who had worked in D.C., and stayed here. The service is exceptional and the location cannot be beat. It's two blocks from the White House and when you walk out the front door and look to your left you see the US Capitol building. It is also within walking distance to many Washington tourist sights including the Capitol Mall and many museums.
The rooms are comfortable and the house keepers are very helpful. While staying here you have to go to the Round Robin bar. Excellent food and a tremendous Bar. If there is a down side it's a hotel of choice of many international dignitaries and increased security if often enforced. A trip to the nations Capitol is not complete without a visit to The Willard InterContinental Hotel.

The Willard Hotel couldn't be better situated for all the major attractions. White House, Capitol Hill and all the War Memorials are within easy walking distance. The old town Trolley Tours of Washington DC are also very good value and the drivers are very knowledgable.

Thank you for your review. We wouldn't agree with you more, the Willard InterContinental is in quite the ideal location here in DC. Located in the heart of Washington, The Willard is located within walking distance to many of the city's most notable attractions including the various monuments, memorials and museums on the National Mall. It doesn't get much more convenient than that! Thank you again for your review. We hope to welcome you again soon.

The atmosphere of the Willard is second to none. Page, the coordinator, went beyond her duty to ensure my daughter’s wedding and reception was truly septacular. They allow my daughter to add unusual elements to her event that separated it from any other wedding. The food, the wait staff, and bell hops were awesome. I would give the entire Willard staff and venue the highest possible rating and would also recommend it as a wedding venue to others and believe it or not a good value too.

Wow. Thank you for such a complimentary review. We're immensely pleased to learn your daughter's wedding and reception at our iconic property was truly spectacular. It was also such a pleasure reading your kind words about Paige, our Events Service Manager. She works incredibly hard to ensure events go smoothly and that an enjoyable time is had by all. Hearing this was the case for you and that you would recommend our property as a wedding venue to others is music to our ears. We will be sure to share your kind words with our team. Thank you again for your review. We hope to welcome you again soon.
