Great hotel, to my surprise and delight, I was upgraded to the Premier Suite and it was fabulous, very spacious and luxurious. It was close to my business meetings and we were in walking distance of the Capitol and the National Mall.

The location is wonderful. An easy walk to the mall, capital and the food served during the conference was the best I have ever had. There were great options of fresh prepared vegetables and other healthy choices.

The hotel looks nice and the staff is pleasant enough, but for $375 a night, you don’t get much. There is no microwave in the room, nor a refrigerator. You can ask for one, which I did, but one never provided. I made requests through the app for basic room supplies, which did come, but not as requested. I think the hotel could provide amenities much more efficiently. Restaurant prices are expensive, even for the most simple of meals. Their shop is nice, but prices are ridiculous. The hotel offers no views and a fire station next door makes it noisy with sirens at all hours. I am in hotels half the year and use Hyatt around the world. Washington needs to look at their location, service level and cost structure, as there is a lot of competition in the area. I would not recommend.

An easy walk to Capitol Hill, and convenient to the Mall and all the museum's and sights. Fantastic local restaurants, but not for the budget oriented. Cavernous attractive lobby in the Hyatt Regency mold. Rooms pleasant, small. Very awkward bathrooms with toilet paper placed a long reach behind. WiFi access in the rooms.

Front desk responsive to issues.

If you are a frequent flyer, their club room provides all the comforts one could want, including a full breakfast, and a happy hour with substantial food should your dinner not start until 9pm. Extra computer access as well.

We were here for 5 nights, off season. It is obviously a hotel for conventions and conferences as it was jam packed with participants. The main lobby is open, almost too much so in that it feels like you are arriving at a train station, due to the escalators right at the entrance.
Check in was fine. Our room was on the 5th floor although this is somewhat misleading. The hotel only starts on the 3rd floor, so we were in effect only 3 floors up, not 5. We had a room on the side of the hotel which was not as noisy as we expected it to be.
The room itself was adequate. Clean, but somewhat tired and dated. Could do with a good revamp/modernisation. Popcorn ceilings and brown everywhere.
The bathroom was clean and an average selection of toiletries were provided.
The restaurant was disappointing. Staff were good and courteous but the food left alot to be desired. An overly zealous addition of cinnamon to the butternut squash soup and a most peculiar quinoa salad with spaghetti sauce were not appetizing.
The location of the hotel makes very much a business hotel rather than a holiday hotel. It provides all a businessman or woman needs to function, but it's a no frills setting. Set a good miles walk from the commercial centre, don't expect any kind of entertainment or dining nearby. It's afew minutes walk from the Capitol Hill.
Adequate.
