In town for the day and decided to try Ted's after pouring over many foodie reviews for DC. Called ahead for "preferential" seating but still had to wait once we got there. Decor is heavy on the salvaged vintage decor. Fun but a little over played. Extremely uncomfortable old school desk chairs! Very difficult to choose from all of the very yummy sounding menu selections. My husband chose the hamburger with bacon and peanut butter (Med rare). Whereas it was very tasty, it definitely was cooked closer to medium well and the peanut butter was merely a scant trace on the bun lid. I had the grilled cheese and tomato soup. The soup was AWESOME! The grilled cheese was disappointing. Way too much bread with thin slice of bright orange cheese. I would recommend skipping the grilled cheese and ordering the soup solo off starter menu. For dessert we shared a Ted's tart (homemade pop tart) which was very sweet but flaky like homemade pastry. We also shared a slice of banana cream pie which was the best we have both ever eaten! The pie made the whole meal! We will come back to try other items on menu as well as have more pie (pass on tart)!

We were dog sitting in the area and Ted's had been recommended to us. We lucked out on a Saturday morning and walked in and got a table for two. Lots of people were waiting but for larger space. Both of us ordered Sausage Gravy on Biscuits and it was great (and a very large portion). The service was wonderful and we loved the art deco décor. The place looks much older than it is, but in a good way. We'll definitely go back when if we get in the area again.

Had breakfast for lunch...pancakes, eggs , bacon, grits...all good. Waitress was kinda curt, and drinks were not good. I would come back because on other visited the staff has been extremely friendly, and drinks were incur the top. In fact, beside or waitress, all others have very pleasant, just Victoria P, our waitress.

Dined for Dinner on 7/14/2017 (Thursday): Walking into Ted's Bulletin and seeing the menu is like a blast from the past. They have an old-school movie projector and the menu reminds you of good old comfort food from back in the day. They have delicious ice cream shakes and tarts and I had to get the TV Dinner which was really yummy and was even served in an old-school TV Dinner tray. You have to come here! Everything on the menu looks and tastes great.

This was by far our favorite place to eat during our stay in DC. The food is fantastic, and the selections are vast, something for everyone. The banana cream pie is to die for!!! Would be sure to eat here again, and again, and again!!!!! The waitstaff were fantastic as well!
