Now, one advantage of most of the museums in Washington D.C is that they are all free to enter, provided they are all Smithsonian museums. Very lovely and huge museum this was. So many airplanes and rockets all around. I loved the simulator

Compared to Kennedy Space Center, it is just okay. However, the planetarium and Imax saved the experience for my crew. Definitely take in the shows. I think they cost about $10 to $13 per show. So worth it.

We were given a superb excellent guide to the exhibits, history and evolution of air and space travel by three wonderful, knowledgeable and humorous friendly veterans.
Most informative. Fascinating.
Touch that moon rock.
