Based on the dearth of TA reviews, I’d say it most definitely is!
The last day of our holiday and wow, what a find! That’s what we thought as we let ourselves into this perfectly situated, roomy and quite gorgeous apartment.
Marg and Pete have great taste and their rooms have smart furniture and high-spec fittings and upholstery, with attention to detail in the artworks and ornaments making it feel like we were really using someone else’s home rather than a holiday let.
It was sparkling clean and immaculately maintained. Everything that anyone could need for a stay of any length was provided – right down to an extensive range of quality crockery and cutlery.
The sun shone on our TWO balconies as we sat smugly with our glasses of wine, watching the unlucky cruise passengers return to their ships after just a few hours, while we anticipated a night out. Then we had this gem of a village to ourselves… almost. Thoroughly enjoyed watching the sunset from the HarBar Beachfront Cafe.
Akaroa was the best possible finale to our already unforgettable New Zealand adventure – and Central Apartment was the delightful cherry on the cake.
Thank you Pete and Marg for allowing us to live in your lovely premises for a little while – another privilege of a trip that knocked us out.
This comfortable centrally located apartment offers excellent views of the harbour and is surrounded by eateries and lovely walks in natural surroundings. Well equipped unit with plenty of space.
Beautiful seaside apartment facing the gorgeous Akaroa jetty. Easy to locate and very clean and tidy.
Opposite the main and pier with views looking out over the water. Well furnished and very comfortable. Many restaurants only minutes away. Dedicated car parking bay provided, with the apartment up a single flight of stairs on the first floor. Would suit all travelers except those after a full kitchen or those wanting complete solitude. I would be happy to stay again
