Located in the very city center, it`s easily achievable and worth seeing not only as a main Orthodox church of old Vilnius but also as a very beautiful inside magnificent church

This is THE Orthodox church in Vilnius and it is impressive. Ornately decorated inside, featuring the (thankfully) covered relic corpses of three saints, it is also -- as others have noted -- one of the rare Orthodox churches that doesn't forbid photographs. A must see during a visit to Vilnius.

Well worth a visit. One of the few orthodox churches I visited in my travels thru Lithuania, Latvia & Estonia that allowed photographs to be taken

I was immediately impressed with the number of women bustling around cleaning the candle holders, dusting, making everything shine.

Not having any background on the Orthodox religions, I am always struck by the lack of pews or chairs.

The church was busy with people coming in to buy candles, placing them and apparently praying before leaving.

I attended some of the Vespers service on a Saturday evening; the music was just amazing; a choir near the front and another choir in the gallery at the rear. Very beautiful.
