Along several blocks, the walls of this street are decorated with small works of art commemorating Lithuanian writers. While nearly all of these writers are virtually unknown outside of the country, the mini artistic works are interesting in and of themselves, even if visitors like me can't put them into proper context for the individual writers.

This short street in the middle of old town has plenty of random pieces of art strewn across four walls. Collectively they are unique and appealing. Worth a look if you have time.

Had a break in Vilnius in June 2018 and we decided to try out this place. This was one of the highlights of the walking tour we did, not sure why it's a highlight!! if I'm honest it's a bit underwhelming (IMHO) maybe I'm missing something but there are more impressive things to see in Vilnius

You don't have to necessary understand what is written on each of those small pictures or know the names. One can simply admire each unique piece as an art work itself, step closer and notice all the different details, search for the one you like the most and share it with your group. The path leading there itself is very gorgeous and close to St.Ona's gothic church and the old town main street too.
By the way, it is free, it is on the street, you don't have to pay to visit.

A lot of picture on the wall. Unusual place, very close to main road of Old Town. Original idea which I really like.
