Reception: we were sent back and forth several times, from one room to another across the courtyard, because the waiters failed to check space availability.
Goose soup: the only good part of our lunch.
Goose breast: inedible, overcooked, reheated, dried out (please check photo below). The waitress on the defensive: "but that is what our sauce is for!" A very dubious sauce, mind you...
Breaded goose liver: dried out.
Mashed potatoes: ok, but just that.
Red cabbage: funny taste and consistency.
Pear: not done.
We were offered dessert, but after a very disappointing meal, we only wanted coffee and camomille tea with lemon to wash it down. Check the sad slice of lemon below...
In the end, we were proven right and not charged for the goose breast. Fine, thank you. But that was not the point, really. How can you present a patron such a dish which fails to meet even the lowest requirements?
