So we walked in the restaurant and was told the only table for two available was by the entrance doors, like just one metre away, cause the others were all reserved and the outdoor terrace area was full as well. People came in consistently as we ate. It’s freezing cold with the doors being opened and shut. There were three occasions where I heard they didn’t have a booking and they were given other tables that’s more inside. Wait, didn’t they say the tables were reserved?! We didn’t finish all of our dishes, they weren’t amazing anyways, paid the bill and went somewhere for a proper dinner.

Dear Kayyy11,

We are so sorry to read about your negative experience!
Sometimes we have a lot of reservations and our guests decide to not to show up without mentioning it to us which is very bothering for both of us. At your case this might have happened. By the time you arrived we were expecting the guests who had reserved, so we could give you only that table which was not reserved by the front door.

Once again, we are truly sorry for the inconveniences, and honestly hope that despite your actual opinion you will grant us another opportunity to welcome you back and to provide you with an excellent experience.

Kind regards,

Virág Galambosi
Quality Manager

I went to Baalbek with two of my friends after a long stay abroad to taste some “home food”.

The restaurant is nicely designed and decorated, gives a middle eastern feeling, and the staff is very polite.

We had 2 mezze platter for a starter, mix of small dishes ( Hummus, Falafel (didnt like), sausages, Tabbuleh, and 2 more..) each for around 5500HUF

Kibbeh Niya- was waaay far from the real kibbeh niya ( and believe me i know what is the real good taste)
Fried Kibbeh stuffed with meat- was ok overall
Each for around 3000 HUF more or less

The big disappointment were the meals, we had the grill mix for around (10000HUF), the lamb chops were literally hard to chew, and the chicken chops were dry!!

The really good thing about this restaurant is that they have Raki, highly recommended.
However, they only had Yeni Raki(Turkish), a glass for 1250 HUF .
it sounded odd to me not having Lebanese raki when they are so familiar with it.. ( its enlisted in the menu but they didn’t have)

Shisha (Hookah) was the best, they use Al-Fakher, a brand with high reputation and the flavor of shisha is wow.. priced for around 5500 HUF

We got the check- around 55000 HUF for 3 persons,(not saying we didn’t order much), but STILL, the restaurant is overpriced!!

Taste and restaurant overall i would say 7/10
Value for money 6/10
Overall 6/10
Definetely, there are many things to improve

Good place and great shisha but food could be better.. it didn’t taste fresh to me and looked just warmed up. The lentil soup should be thicker
