This was my first visit to Budapest so didn't know what to expect.

The hostel is near the center and everithing is very cozy and clean. We loved our room and the treatment we received from the staff. They had no problem with us leaving the luggage there until our flight. I will repeat no doubt.

travelled dec 18, first time in a hostel and didn't know what to expect as i thought it would be very 'studenty' and i'm a bit more mature in years. it was cracking, big room, lovely bathroom, clean communal kitchen, there are little shops close by. as it is in the jewish quarter it is well placed for good bars - but it wasn't noisy in the room or the hostel at night. reception staff were more than helpful and we could store our luggage when we checked out whilst we went for a final look around the city before our flight. there is also a restaurant attached to the side - i think its a different company but you can go through from the hotel - so its handy if you want to get breakfast - or have a drink. there is an elevator.

Beautiful hostel. Really nice staff. Great location. You can find all you need to cook in the kitchen. If you are searching for a nice place to stay in Budapest, you should definitely choose this one !

We were extremely happy to stay at Maverick City Lodge. We had a fun and unique experience and we felt as home.

It's an hostel, not an hotel, but you can't see the difference in the service. All rooms have smart keys and you can book a double room with private bathroom, if you need it.
The main lobby is incredibly cozy and we'll decorated. Computers are available for everyone (and you can print your stuff if you need). You can access the next door restaurant (FAT MAMA) straight from there.
Our room was clean, the environment not too loudly for an hostel.
It's located very close to the city center and main point of interests.
I'd recommend this place to everyone looking for an affordable short stay in Budapest.
