Maverick is THE BEST hostel you will find in Budapest.
It is located super close to the city center, about 5min walk on the Jewish neighborhood of Budapest, so the closest main landmark it's the Sinagogue.
We booked a 6 people shared room but when we got to the front desk Frank was super receptive and told us that there was a 2 person private room available and that we could use it. I was really surprised with that offer and the room was just amazing. Everything was clean and the bed was comfortable and warm.
The main lobby is cozy and incredibly we'll decorated. They have computers available for everyone and you can access the next door restaurant/breakfast straight from there.
Everyday they have a different shared experience in the lobby, from dinner to wine tasting.
Even though it's a hostel, you get a full hotel experience there since all rooms have smart keys and you can tell they really care about safety.
I was definitely impressed with what we got by the price we paid. I'd recommend this place to everyone looking for an affordable short stay in Budapest and will definitely return in the futureMore
