four seasons gresham place is the best place to stay in budapest.

The hotel is built in a palace, has good historical architectural theme to it and the location is amazing. it is right in front of the danube river and just a stone throw away from most of the localities.

The rooms are slightly small but that is in most hotels across europe, the size of rooms differ from those 5 star properties of asia or africa. The cleanliness is amazing, the service provided by the staff is above par. I have stayed in most good properties across europe and i can say that the staff here was one of the friendliest.

special mention of Roxanne at the reception of the spa, she was particularly helpful and really went out of her way to help and accommodate. She was very cheerful and always helped with a smile. She dealt with guest requests is a perfect manner with the right amount of smile and cheerfulness.
Food in the hotel was also very good, the traditional onion soup is a must try.

Shall highly recommend this property due to location and friendly and efficient staff.

Prime location ,beautifully renovated palace with large rooms and soaring high ceilings. Royal feeling like and the royal treatment from the staff makes you feel special all along.
Would like specially to mention the help from the concierge in our last day after checking out. We spent the afternoon at the famous hot springs before our flight early evening. There were not cabs available to take us back to the hotel and only reason we manage to make our flight was that the hotel send a cab with our luggage to pick us up and take straight to the airport. Thanks again!

We really enjoyed our stay here and wanted especially to mention the staff in the terrace restaurant where they serve breakfast - excellent manager remembered our faces and he always made us feel we were " returning home " . Also the manicurist called Ivette was super and I had one of the most detailed, thorough manicures I have had in any hotel , great ! Concierge very helpful , loads of information and assistance with our many bookings - especially the private night time river tour they booked us - super !

The hotel is simply lovely. Walking inside this historical building you will immediately feel amazed, then the room will even please you more with its big spaces and very high ceiling. The restaurant is very nice and all hotel staff very kind. Concierge helped a lot organizing some local excursions. In brief a classic very high-end treatment you receive at any Four Seasons hotel worldwide.

The Four Seasons Gresham Palace in Budapest is a spledidly reconstructed and modern hotel that is located in the absolute perfect location at the Chain Bridge on the busy Danube. Don’t miss the soaring two story wrought iron peacock gates on the side entrance. The rooms are larger than European (or New York) standards, very comfortably appointed, with beds that are sinfully comfortable. But of course it is the staff that makes a true luxury hotel such a treat, and the Gresham Palace takes the legendary Four Seasons service to a sublime level of perfect pampering. You will never want to check out.
