The bridge was a really cool thing to see. My visit was one of the first things i did during mu stay. It is really nice to see when the lights lit up during the night.

The Chain Bridge is nice to look at from afar, but judging by the amount of oxidization, the structure could collapse at any moment, as is in-line with Hungarian Government policy not to invest in safety or infrastructure, I would not cross as the railings are nearly falling off, so you take your life at your own risk

Budapest is a walking city with excellent views from both sides of the Danube River. We took the bridge multiple time in our short stay to visit the Castle. It's safe with the pedestrian area wide enough to stop for photo shoots. Some people sit on the beams and take in the view. Known as one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, the view both day and night is fantastic. Fully lit at night, the bridge and the Castle make for great photos and walking for families, bikers, and couples. Tip: take the funicular on the Buda side to the Castle area--more great views.

I walked across this bridge at night and it was gorgeous. The whole city lights up including the bridges, so it is a breathtaking sight.

It is great dominant of the city, especially in the night it is very well iluminated. On one side it goes almost directly to historical tunnel.
