This hotel gets a first for location - the view at night is simply stunning.
Tram stops just outside and the metro a 3-4 minute walk away. Hotel can organise a taxi from airport, but is easier and cheaper to go to the taxi office just outside arrivals and get one there: this will be about 8,000 HUF as opposed to 11,000 if the hotel organise.
Rooms well appointed and clean. Be sure to get a river view. Rooms on the other side of the hotel are larger but it's not worth giving up the stunning vista from your Juliet balcony. Elemis toiletries replenished daily. Safe in room and mini bar fridge. Would have liked to see larger bath towels as they hardly went round us!
Breakfast times are good: 06:30 - 10:30 and later on a weekend. Breakfast has a great choice of cereal, pastries, cheese, meats, fruit. The cooked food is ok but not always hot enough. Staff will bring lattés to your table.
The bar is a great place to get a drink and hang out - we played games in there too.
One of the best things about this hotel is the reception staff - super knowledgeable and always willing to spend time to help. Really is a fabulous place.
Would recommend without hesitation and would def return. Please like this review if you found it helpful and don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any specific questions.
