We spent 3 nights here, good central location and everything you would expect from a hotel of this standard in terms of facilities. We particularly enjoyed the roof garden "wellness centre" which has an indoor and outdoor pool and saunas plus sun beds to relax on - it really gets you away from the hurly-burly of the city below.
The breakfast was amazing, though was an extra on top of our hotel price - just a shame we had to skip it for 2 of our 3 days due to early starts.
Room was lovely, super bathroom.
We took advantage of the parking garage directly below the hotel - very convenient. The only imperfect notes were on arrival - when we asked where we should go to park the car (pre-booked), we were advised that there was valet parking available, the valet would be out shortly - however, he simply gave us directions to park the car ourselves. We then asked for help with getting our bags to the room - I expected a trolley as we had a lot of bags, but the member of staff merely took 2 of our many bags and left me encumbered with the rest.
On the plus side, we were allowed to leave our car in the garage for half a day after checking out, at no extra charge, so that we could take a River Cruise without having to re-park it in...We spent 3 nights here, good central location and everything you would expect from a hotel of this standard in terms of facilities. That aside, we did enjoy our stay here and would certainly consider the Continental if planning to return to Budapest.More
