Lot of stores, supermarkets, restaurants are in walking range and the inner city is only a few minutes by car.

The hotel itself is grand, elegant and spacious. The wellness area has several pools, with different types of hydromassage and/or whirlpool capabilities.

Parking is under the hotel in a closed parking garage.

๑۩۞۩๑ This was our third visit to hotel Habakuk for Bussiness meetings . Conference room is really large and nicely arranged . But what we especially like in this Hotel is artistic arrangement in the lobby , with huge chandeliers which shine exquisite crystal lights in the evening . The arrangement of the waterfall on rock is very good placed at the entrance . Also upper floor has nice places to sit at the window and chat with friends . ๑۩۞۩๑ #wee is the place to be !

The bar/lounge area needs to be updated and made more customer friendly and a little livelier. The spa and wellness areas are all very good and relaxing and spacious. There is a sense of quietness about the place and its setting is excellent.

This is a 4 star hotel, with some very flamboyant décor, which seriously needs to get updated because currently it resembles the set of 80's tv series Dynasty.
No complaints on the service in the rooms, towels and bedsheets are clean, rooms are spacious, choice of tv programs is strange, but nobody comes here for the tv anyway.
The pools area is overwhelmed by huge surfaces covered in concrete, they could have added a decent 20 m sized pool for just swimming, for instance.
And now for my main concern, which is food. I don't have particular complaints about breakfast, but there isn't much to go wrong there, isn't it?
Luckily I didn't have lunch, but sadly dinner was an unforgettable experience.
I don't know if they even have a qualified cook there, but definitely the person in charge of food preparation doesn't know the basics. Potatoes served in the evening tasted like they've been there for a few days, aubergine lasagna was an unappealing concoction of uncooked vegetables glued with some mysterious substance, which I assume was cooking cream. Meat was hard to chew but masked in tomato sauce to make it look appetizing, but unsuccessfully.
The only thing which was edible there was the salad bar.
It is a shame to have such a well known hotel serving such terrible food. Slovenia is known for good quality food and these guys doesn't give it credit at all.

Room Tip: Views over the pool or towards the woods
