Went for a business dinner as a group of 12. Choice of set meat and fish menu, had the meat which was good, most guest that had the fish were satisfied (the restaurant does have a focus on fish dishes - the main was a large seabass baked in salt that was shared by 6 people). The food is high quality and well prepared, but the prices are high (yuo can get better quality for a lower price at cubo, but it is not in the center of town). Portion sizes were a bit small, followed by a huge desert (cake) - would have prefered the other way round.

Overpriced and ridiculously slow service. The food is ok, but not at the price they are offering.

They can forget your order or just keep you waiting until some waiter decides to take your order.

Being a vegetarian is not the biggest fun at this place. Food was a little unhealthy in the 3 couse menu, but I still rate it to excellent because it tasted good.

The first thing to know about this restaurant is it has two parts; one, a brighter, brasseries side that has a varied menu that includes hamburgers and a kids menu. The other side is the that sophisticated, fine dining with attentive waiter who skillfully paired Slovenian wines with our dinner. We chose the fixed price 3 course seafood menu; tuna tartare, 2nd course of lobster on pasta, 3rd course sea bass that was flame finished tableside. Each course was paired with a lovely local wine, which was extra. Well priced and loved the quiet ambience.. be sure to know which side you want to dine on....

We were booked here by a very experienced professional conference tour operator (with whom I have travelled since 1994) but on arrival were advised that we we actually booked in AS Aperitivo, but not a problem as we could eat from the AS Gostlina menu. We were not however warned that this would soon involve very loud disco music and as the evening passed conversation became impossible. Not at all what we were expecting.. Recommend that you do not allow the same mistake to recur.
