We stayed here as part of a package with Life Adventures in Lake Bled, having originally been given a choice between a place in the small town of Bled or a farm a short walk outside. We were so pleased that we'd chosen the latter as Pr Povsin is a real gem. Our studio apartment was large and very clean, with three comfortable beds, a small kitchen, dining table and a couple of easy chairs, plus a modern bathroom, with excellent hot shower. The food is quite excellent - most of it home-made on the farm (from butter and delicious jams to wonderful smoked salami and ham) breakfast is a proper feast. Dinner booked in the morning is served at 7pm sharp and is great value with a wonderful home-cooked three-course meal for just 10 euros. It's very much a family-run operation, but one that functions with real efficiency and care. The environment is beautiful and extremely quiet, surrounded by wildflower meadows, beehives, and a range of easy chairs and picnic tables, hammocks and swings in a traditional open-sided 'barn'. We loved it so much that we definitely want to return another year - hopefully with many more of our extended family.

A very well set up pension on a working farm near the charming village of Selo , on a high plateau above the valley, in a region of green pastures, apple orchards and corn fields. They were making silage the day we arrived. Nice rooms, good evening meal and breakfast. The location is a bit far out of Bled if you dont have a car.

We came to bled to do some mountainbikikng and see the village and this was a Perfect starting point. We slept Very well in the bedroom and it was fresh and clean. We could also get good tips from one of the guys at the hostel Where the best tracks were etc.. Really helpful staff. The breakfast was great and it was a pleasure to enjoy the homemade food and just feel the calmness of the countryside. It is maybe 30 min walk from the city center so you can walk but a bike or car is probably a better option. Will certainly return if i come back to bled!

I stayed here in July 2005, and I have wonderful memories of staying here. I stayed in the B&B, had a wonderful room, and breakfast was so good. One night there was a thunderstorm, and the thunder echoed off the surrounding mountains, and it was spectacular! The walk into the town of Bled was only 2 km along farm roads. It was safe, and a beautiful walk. I would absolutely stay here again!

We stayed just over the night, with our two daughters, 4 and 8. Joze waited for us even after midnight, because we were late, but he was very nice and friendly. The accommodation was very good, a very large and clean apartment, properly heated too (it was 2nd of January). Breakfast was fantastic, in a cheerful atmosphere, with domestic specialities. Not many things to do during the winter, but a nice escape from the busy town. Truly recommendable.
