This is typical communism style monument. I am sure that most of the tourists will not find out the event which monument is dedicated to. But it's shape reminds something else - making it a city symbol.

The monument is a symbol of Rzeszow and makes it different from other cities. The area around it is also nicely done, especially after they turned they big car park into nice gardens.

Growing up near Rzeszow I will always associate this monument with the city and I have to say that in recent years surrounding area became quite nice with beautiful garden between the monument and city hall.

It's nice the city preserved this old communist monument. It's impossible to erase the past. It's better to remember. I like the Polish nickname, labia in english. I like Polish humor.

Maybe this building is nothing special. Maybe it is far away from famous european monuments. Maybe it is big, ugly and dirty (mostly thanks to pigeons).
Maybe....but to be honest with you there is no Rzeszów without Revolutionary Act Monument, and there is no other place where you can find such monument. It is a must-see.

Famous of its infamous nick-name. Wondering how it goes? Ask locals :-)

Thank Gadku
