We have just returned from a 3 night stay at So in Sopot. I We had the deluxe room (apartment 3) which was perfect for our family of 3.
We flew into Gdansk airport and got train to Sopot via Gdansk. The apartment is just a few minutes walk from the train station and is easy to find. We were emailed the access code to the main door which also worked on the apartment door. No issues with this at all! We then used the key card for the apartment door.
The apartment is located on the first floor and there is a winding staircase to go up ( no lift)
We were pleasantly surprised when we opened the door to this beautiful room with high ceilings, plenty of light, huge bed and even a kitchenette!!
Everything was spotless!
The kitchen had everything we needed apart from a tea towel to dry the dishes but that wasn't really an issue! There was a couple of bottles of water, tea, coffee, sugar and some sweets too. We made breakfast each morning so it was handy to have a fridge as well.
The bathroom was beautiful and the bath deep, luxurious and a perfect way to relax after walking all day! There is a heated towel rack which warms the bathroom and keeps the fluffy white towels nice and warm too. The separate shower was also great with a rain shower head and plenty of pressure. The added touches like the lit up make up mirror, hairdryer and extra shower extension in bath did not go unnoticed.
The bed was huge and the comfiest bed I've ever slept in with crisp white sheets. My daughter slept on the pull out sofa bed which she said was very comfy too!
The room is nicely heated and radiators that have thermostat controls. It was very cold outside when we visited but the room was always warm for us and heating worked even when key card was not inserted.
There was a basket of spare umbrellas and walking sticks just out on the corridor which we didn't need to use but were a nice touch too.
I didn't need to contact the owner at all and our stay was perfect. It's such a convenient location and just around the corner from the top of Monte Casino. It was so easy to just nip out in the morning to get fresh pastries from the many bakeries around!!
Sopot is a beautiful place! I would also recommend a visit to Gdansk and Gdynia. Both charming in their own way.
