Description: This is a small restaurant / bar located on ul. Warzywnicza in Gdansk. They are open for breakfast and dinner (possibly lunch, but I am unsure). I had breakfast here and wanted to add it to the list of restaurants in Gdansk and write a review of it. Thank you.

We were looking for a restaurant not very expensive and with a traditional Polish food. We didn't check Trip advisor before going there, if so, probably we hadn't gone. Fortunately we went and it was an amazing surprise. We had a Zurek and a main course. The place is very simple, with a curious decoration and the staff is nice. I must say that we had a good time there.

We were walking alongside river in old town Gdańsk in search of a place to eat lunch and was persuaded by restaurant staff to give this place a try. Our waitress was kind, and nothing wrong with the drinks we ordered, but pierogi, man, that was nasty, I’ve had those many times before and they usually are pretty good, but this time the meat inside were probably expired cuz they tasted like they were drenched in vinegar. And I had diarrhea for the rest of day.

NIce setting but food.... Polish żurek was a disaster, fish soup was average and potato pancakes were made from frozen stuff... Goulash was oversalted. Only beer kept the taste. Don`t go there.

I popped in here after seeing the quirky interior from the outside. The lady who served us was warm, friendly and helpful. We had the potato pancakes with goulash and it came out quickly with great presentation and flavour. The interior of the restaurant is very colourful and a lot of quirky art so a bit different from other places. We paid around 80 zloty for a main each and a few drinks which I thought was pretty reasonable. Nice atmposhere and we had a nice time :)

Just behind the waterfront in a glass fronted corner location, the decor will make you look twice. Windows are stuffed with ornaments while the ceiling is what you might call special! Good selection of traditional Polish dishes with several vegetarian options - a rarity in Gdansk. Good - sized portions but a bit random on the service as the main courses arrived at the same time as the starter. Friendly staff but would have preferred the m not to always be glued to the phone when not serving
