The location is great. Room was quite small, but alright for a four-night stay. Staff was helpful and there was always someone who spoke English well. The air conditioning went on and off, which sometimes was quite irritating. We also ran out of toilet paper and didn't get more before specifically asking for it, even after we left the empty roll on the toilet seat. That said, cleaning could have been better.

All in all, it's a room but not much more. I was however quite pleased with the overall experience.

The ibis Gdansk is that typical Ibis you know that everything will work as it should, and nothing will disappoint you, so once you are there you feel like safe and at home, there no sophisticated things but everything that he has is working and well done to please the travelers.

We arrived rather wearily at 02.30 in the morning to be greeted by a lovely smiling hotel receptionist who very easily checked us in and pointed us towards our room. The hotel is only 2 years old and the room was first class. Lovely big shower in the bathroom. The air conditioning was also spot on. Breakfast is 82 pzn for 2 people, this is roughly £16. There is a great selection of foods to choose from both hot and cold and any number of trips to refill plates. The staff were fantastic, Always polite and smiling, willing to help if you had a problem. We were only 15 minutes walk into the centre of the Old Town and roughly the same to Solidarity Square, both well worth visiting. On our final day the lovely receptionist checked a company for a chauffer hire to the airport and then booked a taxi for us to the airport, cheaper option but funnily enough both cars were the same class of Mercedes. I could find no fault with this hotel at all. We both enjoyed staying here and when we are back in Gdansk we will definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: We were on 2nd floor at front, no noise. Their are only 3 floors which is 120 rooms

I stayed here for two nights in May 2018 and found it to be one of the best value for money accommodations on my trip. The hotel looks modern and feels fresh and new. Room looks quite standard and I love the decor on the wall with the TV. Bathroom is standard and has shower stall but no tub.

I did glance at the hotel's dining menu and found it a bit on the pricey side and not very Polish authentic; instead I'd suggest walking down the street to Madison's Gallery Shopping Centre (Galeria Handlowa Madison) where they have a nice food court with good selection of international cuisine.

From a location perspective, you can easily walk to Old Town within 10-15 minutes and the area is very safe with lots of pedestrian traffic.
