It is not a typical hotel at all. It is a dormitory, but we found it quiet and the room was spacious. The cleaning should get some more attention in the room and commom areas as well. It is well located, easy acces to the city centre by metro or tram. Shops and restaurants can be found nearby. The breakfast not that bad, but could be better. The staff was absolutely kind and helpful!! For budget travellers I think it can be a great choice!

Very good location, just 10 minutes to all the sights, not so expensive, the beds are okay, the bathroom is also good, there is also a little tea kitchen with fridge
For the first time it was not so easy to find the room, but it is separated from the collage so it was not so noisy, and at the reception they can speak English surprisingly good, the breakfast is a bit poor but all in all it is a good place to stay for a 3night trip

Dormitory is the meaning of "Kolej" as we have learn later on. And the building is operating as a students' hostel, however they receive ordinary tourists. The reception and the hall, even the corridors were worn, disappointing, the restaurant and the bar was never open. But the room was nice. It was huge, clean, with a huge bathroom and a small kitchen. And its price was very reasonable. The Kolej's location is very good, close to the terminus of metro line "A", and several tramlines, so it's very easy to get to the downtown from there.

If you need a room to drop your bags in and just come in, have a shower and sleep a few hours, it is an ok choice.

This is not really a hotel, just a few rooms in a massive building which houses students. Often the long, twisting corridors are smelly and when someone breaks a bottle of beer and spills pop corn in the corridor (it happened on our first night there and it wasn't cleaned up until we left), it can get quite annoying.

The room was ok, however we struggled to cover the width of the window with the single piece of cloth that were supposed to be curtains (if someone walked past our window, they could see us in the bathroom or in the room). We were lucky that during our two-night stay there were no student parties going on. However I can see how it can be noisy and how your sleep can be affected.

Breakfast is very average in quality, however it has the standard variety you would expect (eggs, cold cuts, sausages, fruit, cereal, coffee etc.). It will sustain you until you find something in one of the great places to eat in beautiful Prague.

Would I stay there again? Perhaps, though it would be among my last choices.

I'm very open-minded when it comes to hostels/cheap hotels, and I found this one really comfortable, as I had a double bed, a private bathroom and kitchen, as well as breakfast included! The hallways are very run down (the lobby is quite nice though!) and it was the furthest hotel from the centre I stayed in in Prague, but overall, a great experience, and the food was also nice in the morning (eggs, bacon, sausages, cereals, juices, tea, croissants etc.) everything you need in a breakfast! It does cost a little bit more compared to a hostel, but I had no other choice as it was a very last minute booking, but it turned out well :D
