Had an excellent lunch here. The beef burger and creme brulee were delicious. The cafe offers such a peaceful view of the golf course. The highlight were the warmm friendly and excellent service provided by Shima, Yana and Julia! Would visit this cafe time and...time againMore
Dear Leeya & Shima, you made our day!Thank you very much for your kind hospitality! We like your smile, your good mood, your freshly made cocktails („Zombie!“) and the well tasting, freshly prepared food in the Club House as well. Thanks for your recommendations. Hope to see you soon again!? Kindest regards from Axel & SilviaMore
Food selection is good. There is a mix of local and western. For the price we paid for the food and ambience, can't complain. One of the best places to eat and chill. Service was quick and waiters were polite and warm. Would certainly recommend...this place!!! It didn't live up to its name though. I was expecting to lunch with hornbills. ;)More
Staying at The Datai we booked a twilight round of golf at the Els Club and opted for a pre-round lunch and exhausted from the golf we stayed on for dinner. A bit of a mixed bag... Positives Great setting and very peaceful. Extensive food...and drinks menu. Well priced - certainly compared with the nearby Datai and Andaman, though obviously not the same standard. Fabulous and attentive staff. Huge portions. Negatives Sadly the quality was below average. I suspect the fish and chips were frozen. The batter was rock hard and greasy. The Thai Green Curry was exceptionally salty and too much skin on the chicken for my liking. The burgers at lunch were average at best, indeed quite chewy with small chunks of gristle. The latte and hot chocolate were awful. Given the cost of the golf and the stunning location it’s a shame that the food is so average, especially with such simple meals.More
We opted to go for a quick snack at the Hornbill Cafe in Langkawi. Located on a huge golf course the waitor seated us outside to take in the lovely clean cut golf course with the golf buggies making thier way through the course and...occasionally the odd monkey jn sight. We opted for the vegetarian spring rolls and the loaded potato wedges. Really good service and the food was tasty too. Worth a visit if you visit Langkawi and would like a nice view to go with it.More

Horrible food and even worse service .. The staff are not attentive and when you ask for anything, it takes ages to arrive. Not worth paying for the food and it is one of the worst i have ever tasted in a restaurant.
We decided to come back here for dinner after coffee. Good decision! Excellent service, very quick meals. We had the Chicken Cordon Blue special (on a bed of pasta and vegetables. Well cooked and presented. Finished off with the Creme Brûlée- which was beautiful. Views...and presentation superb, and we don’t play golf!More
I came at the Hornbill Cafe in ELS Club Langkawi for having easy breakfast, but once I saw the menu, I found the "Curry Me", it was so tasty and delicious, make me so full with big portion of Curry Me, Very enjoying the food together...with the wonderfull View, Definitely will come again ...More
We were just roaming around before our flight back to KL and decided to stop, have a look and have lunch here. I was pleasantly surprised such a calm and quiet restaurant overlooking the greens. Food was fine, western fare, not spectacular, just fine and...not overpriced. If you have a moment it's good to drop by cause it looks like it's never busy, just calm.More
This Cafe provides for a tete-a-tete with the birds. They even give you a water "gun" to shoot the birds in case they try to steal your food! Apart from the delicious food this place is a must-go for a relaxed evening with your friends...or family.More
Had drinks and food after every round. Very good service, nice deck to watch 9th and 18th greens. Hornbills, eagles and monkeys are a common sighting.
The hornbill cafe at the famed els golf course is a treasure of beauty, serenity, opulence and hospitality The gf course provides for a perfect setting amongst the rainforest...no doubt it is rated amongst the best in the world and the cafe offers a perfect...complement for the food lover Everything we tasted there was sheer brilliance ....easily the highpoint of our trip to LangkawiMore
We were staying at the Andaman and was aware of this place prior to our stay because I really wanted to play a round but didn't end up doing it. We decided to go down here one late afternoon for drinks and dinner just to...get out of the hotel for a change of pace. So glad we did!! We sat just outside on the patio overlooking the greens.....enjoyed some ice cold beer ( at decent prices ) and relaxed and then had some dinner. The menu is limited but the food was very good! While there I went into the locker room and had my picture taken alongside Ernie Els locker and plaque. Nice visit and would definitely recommend.......if we would have been longer at the Andaman we would have visited again for dinner. Be aware though that this place closes at 7:30 p.m.More
