We enjoyed our 16 day stay at Casas con Vistas. The owner, Marisa, was gracious and easy to deal with and happily accommodated our needs for natural cleaning products during our stay. Sra. Bety helped us too and we engaged her for additional cleaning.
The beds were comfortable and we appreciated the modern kitchen and baths. But, the best part was the views, not only of the lake, but of the beautiful front courtyard with fruit trees. An Oriole came every day to enjoy the beautiful flowers and eat ripe figs. Breakfast on the patio was a treat with Vermilion Flycatchers swooping in to find bugs and Inca Doves drink from the pool. Even in early December, the pool was warm enough to swim in.
To enjoy your stay here the most, you might want to bring earplugs to avoid being woken by chickens or the firecrackers set off in the village. We simply downloaded a white noise app to our iPad and had no problem sleeping. Also, this home is probably not the best choice if you have mobility issues, unless you have help to carry luggage and groceries down the steps from the carport to the house.
