Great house and service. Little bit isolated from the main road, therefore bit difficult to find but great views and very quiet. Beautifully decorated and great amenities. Would defintely recommend

Thank you so much for taking the time to review your stay. Yes the house is in a very tranquil location at the end of a country lane but its only ten minutes to Ronda so we think it has the best of both worlds. We are delighted that you had a great stay and appreciated the facilities and service, we would happily welcome you back in future.

“Lovely, stylish villa with everything you need for a relaxing break”
Reviewed 3 November 2016 for a stay in September 2016

We stayed at Finca El Olivar for a week as a family in September and it was fantastic. It is set in the quiet countryside around Ronda which has some lovely restaurants and stunning views of the bridge and surrounding countryside. The villa is a perfect base to explore from but also I spend many hours by the pool or sleeping under the shade created by the two large shaded areas. The villa is very well kept, clean and spacious with comfortable beds, air con etc. We had a great time here and that has a large part to do with the fact we stayed at El Olivar.

Also, thanks for the LandRover tour and jumping into the fresh water at the caves - awesome!

It is always nice when guests enjoy their time at El Olivar. It is beautifully private and quiet but there is always the opportunity for adventure as you found out on the jeep tour! The villa's proximity to Ronda means all the wonderful eateries are close at hand which is a big bonus. The landscape is stunning and was one of the main reasons we love the area so much. We like to keep a well equipped house with everyone's comfort a high priority. Thank you for choosing El Olivar.

“The Perfect Luxury Retreat in a Stunning Location”
Reviewed 11 September 2016 for a stay in September 2016

The most beautiful and contemporary home, where the owners have considered the needs of every member of the family.
Shady terraces to sit and enjoy a first Cuppa of the day or to read or escape the sun, beautiful gardens and a different view from every aspect. Table tennis, Netflix and a pool for the teens (and the adults), and lovely contemporary toys, books etc for the little ones.
We found El Olivar the perfect place to truly unwind and switch off, yet within a stones throw of Ronda and the most amazing countryside.
Thank you.

“Beautiful, stylish villa in stunning Spanish countryside”
Reviewed 30 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

I couldn't have hoped for more - stunning villa, beautiful setting and perfect for three couples sharing. The house has been so thoughtfully designed and I had serious house envy by the end of the trip! The garden is also beautiful with beds of aromatic lavender and rosemary and pots of aloe Vera and a vine providing lots of shade for the family. It was also wonderful to be surrounded by olive groves and rolling hills as well as the sound of cicadas. Bliss.

This was the perfect place for the whole family to relax. Between the pool and the table tennis our two young men (16 and 20) had plenty to do while we lounged. The south terrace looking across the pool to Ronda provided a cool and restful spot for endless reading and we had many banquets on the east terrace after a glass or two watching the sun go down behind the foothills. We loved the rooms - so lovingly thought through - a great space for slowing down. Favourite thing? Probably wild swimming and the jeep tour or was it exploring Ronda or Seville or maybe eating at De Locos Tapas or...that early morning swim on the last day when no one else was in the pool!

We are glad you found the atmosphere so relaxing, the location and the house itself do invite a slower pace of life and an opportunity to unwind but for those that demand more action there is plenty to do.
The private pool with views to the mountains of the Sierra de las Nieves and Grazalema National Park is perfect for families and for those who just want to kick back and relax - we are very happy you enjoyed it so much.
