“Location! Privacy! Location! Space! Location! Value! Location!”

Hosts Tiffany and Billy are friendly, easy-going US-main landers who will make your stay even more valuable with local tips and directions. They are involved in several enterprises and hook you up with excursions, boating, diving, etc. Dos Culebras is hidden in the hilly country side between Aguada and Rincon.
Use your GPS: N 18.21.876 W067.15.419. It's a three hour drive from SJU airport. Their 3-story home is built on a slope and one rents the lowest floor, containing two bedrooms with a separate bathroom each and a central living room/kitchen. The large covered balcony serves as dining room behind much greenery, overlooking the pool and a small green valley. A hammock is planned to be installed. Tiffany's pictures on the internet are 100% accurate. Both bedrooms (with each two beds) have an A/C unit, the center space has fans. The Rental is in good shape, though shower curtains and kitchen utensils, pans, etc. would benefit from rejuvination or replacement. I could not get the TV/Satellite to work - but that may be user failure. Having the private pool is a great asset, as is the close proximity to many lonesome beaches (at least in the off-season). It may rain daily for an hour or so, but that's what the beach restaurants and cervezas are for. Calypso makes a great fish sandwich. The Red Flamboyan restaurant is excellent, Mofongo and Ruladen highly recommended. The host family lives on the main and top floors, and kids, dogs and cats are around - all pleasant and not interrupting. Cooler, beach chairs, beach towels and snorkel fins were provided. Parking is on the property behind the gate. Coffee shop and Bakeries are in the little Puntas village a few minutes by car. Full size supermarket about 20 minutes in Rincon. And do not rent a full-size car!! Streets are very narrow without shoulder, turns are sharp and Puerto Ricans seem to like to drive in the middle of the road, and race their horses on them at night. Enjoy - you can not go wrong with this one.

“The Bonbrights are the bomb!”
Reviewed 25 November 2011 for a stay in November 2011

Our second time back to Rincon. The first with our two year old daughter. We were so lucky to have met Tiffany and Billy over the net. We rendezvoused with our friends from Colorado, went out to Culebra (the island) snorkeling for a few days and then headed back across P.R. to the bustling surf capitol of the Caribbean. The waves were much bigger than the last time we were there and we got completely destroyed......and loved every minute of it.
A normal day @ Casa Dos Culebras consisted of a morning walk to grab a smoothie at Banana Dang! or the bakery right up the street. A morning adventure of some sort. Be it surfing, shopping or a swim. Head back and sit around the pool for a while. The weekend was great because all three of Tiffany and Billy's kids were home to pal out with our daughter. After an evening attempt at some surfing head back and cook on the large patio deck or venture out to one of the fabulous restaurants within walking distance. A nightcap at the Rockbottom bar and off to bed with a Coqui serenade. The Bonbrights could not have been more helpful in all aspects of our trip. There is no knowledge like local knowledge. We will be seeing you all again very soon. Oh and if you are not down with the family time thing, head down the road to Casa Verde, the most raging spot in Rincon! Its where we would have been 5 years ago. You can't go wrong with contacting these guys either way, they have something for everyone. Thanks again -the O'Sheas
