We visited this restaurant last year in the Quinta shopping centre and were disappointed not to find it there this time.
We did track it down and again had lovely food, reasonably priced and with nice staff.
Will definitely return.

It was only ok. D Lounge used to be at A Quinta shopping,
Where we ate many times and really enjoyed the food and location. It’s not so good now they have moved and we will
Not be going back unfortunately.

The restaurant has recently moved and quite conveniently for us is less than a 5 minute walk away on the aptly named Avenue Ayrton da Senna (as in the racing car driver). We arrived at around 7pm and there were only two other tables taken. We had a table for 2 by the window. We ordered lamb and a bottle of the house red. For a house wine the red was excellent, the lamb was good also. Service was good which was not difficult as by the time we ate our mains we were the only people in the restaurant.
On the negative side, as there was very few customers there the restaurant lacked atmosphere. Hopefully when more people know where the new location is the summer season approaches more people will go to the restaurant.

As we live a few minutes away from the restaurant we were keen to give it a try.
We went for an early dinner mid week so we were only the second table of two. As a result we received good service and the food came quickly.
We shared a starter of crispy lamb croquettes, which consisted of 3 mini lamb samosas, which were lightly spiced and in filo pastry. We enjoyed them but they should not be described as croquettes.
For main course my husband had the steak, which was obviously good quality, but completely over cooked. He asked for pink but not bloody, the waitress said so medium, he replied whether you call it medium or medium rare, I like pink but not bloody.
It came well done...not a hint of pink. I ordered the special red label chicken breast, this was also seriously over cooked as were the mixed vegetable side order. I think part of the problem was the plates were red hot so the food may have continued to cook. By this time the restaurant had started to fill up and the two waitresses were pretty busy, so having failed to catch their attention my husband ate half of his steak and I ate a couple of mouthfuls of chicken. When our plates were eventually cleared it was obvious there was a problem and we explained why we had not eaten most of our food. The waitress simply said I will let the chef know. Prior to our leaving the owner arrived and thanked us for our visit, which was a nice touch. My husband took the opportunity to tell him about our meal, his response was ‘thank you for the feedback’. Having spent around €90 for one starter, two main, a bottle of water and a bottle of wine, we left the restaurant hungry and returned home for cheese and biscuits! We were never offered replacement food, nor was there any suggestion of removing any of the food from our bill.
Perhaps they thought we were tourists rather than residents.
Sadly I doubt we will be returning as this is a nice local restaurant, stylish and well laid out, but if they can’t provide a decent plate of food that all counts for nothing.

Superb food and ambience. We visited 3 times during our holiday! Krystyna and all the staff are warm and welcoming. It’s chic - cool and a lovely restaurant to relax in. We’ll be back next year. Given the Michelin star restaurants in the area DLounge does a great job to compare.
