“Peace and Quiet near Noosa”

We decided on hiring a house instead of an apartment as we were travelling with our kids plus our friends and their one boy. Sharing a house for a week can be tricky especially with 3 kids (boys) 2 who are teenagers. As others have said there is plenty of room and lot's of nooks that the kids came escape to. The Wifi was very good so the teenagers were happy but due to the cold weather a few days before we arrived the pool was really cold. The boys had wetsuits and swam everyday. Later in the week it warmed up as it relies on solar. This house is just over a km from the shops and it's quite a steep hill so we walked a couple of times and then decided driving was easier. There's room for 2 cars in the driveway and parking on the street in odd spots. The Surf Club down the hill is excellent and they'll drive you home in their mini van after dinner! Awesome. The things I missed were beach/pool towels as when you are flying International it's something you don't pack, a blender would have been good as my kids drank $8 smoothies everyday and pack your binoculars as we saw Whales migrating north almost everyday from the deck, Magic. The Noosa markets are fantastic for supplies and we used the Webber bbq everyday. The trade off for not being super close to Cafe's and shops is the peace and quiet that this property offers. The owners were very easy to deal with and they are quick to sort out any issues. Would definitely recommend staying here and hope to return one day.

MAGIC that the whales were passing by and you got to enjoy them from the Balinese - I have made a note to remind our guests to pack their binoculars so they can get a ‘close-up’ anytime from about June to November. And we loved knowing that you enjoyed some days in the high 20’s for your midwinter stay which is a real plus, as spring is not supposed to start until September!!

You slipped into the way Noosa locals like to live - the markets, the local surf club, the weber and the smoothies. Mmm - no blender because we were advised there is a potential bacterial issue if milk products are used and the container is not thoroughly cleaned - the black rubber can become impregnated with bacteria and it is not obvious to the naked eye.

We do hope you get to stay at the Balinese again and will get you those beach towels!

My partner and I just spent a week in the Balinese Beach House for her milestone birthday. We had six people stay and the house was just perfect. The living area is enormous with a huge balcony overlooking Sunshine Beach. The facilities were modern and the ambiance of the place made it a very relaxing week. The house is located in the quiet area of Sunshine Beach but within easy walking distance to the surf club and shops. There is a great range of dining available either at the surf club or cafes and restaurants across the road from the club which cater for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The house has a great pool and we spent hours after dinner relaxing in the pool. If you enjoy a nature walk, the house is situated in a street adjoining the Noosa National Park with trails taking you to a variety of bays, coves and beaches all the way to Noosa. Make sure you pack appropriate walking shoes as the trails are natural for most of the way.
I would recommend the Balinese Beach House to anyone wanting to have a relaxing holiday in close proximity to the attractions that Noosa has to offer without the touristy distractions.

Lovely to know that the Balinese has delivered the relaxing holiday we always try to ensure our guests enjoy - it has played host to so many milestone birthdays just like your special celebration and seems to be rather good at this!

Embracing the local beach culture, enjoying the village eateries and the surf club makes for a great beach holiday. And thank you for the tip that it is best to enjoy the Noosa National Park in comfortable walking shoes - something I have never thought to tell our guests! :)

“Magnificient”

This property was an amazing place to stay. The views were incredible and the sounds of the waves every night was also so relaxing. The open plan living meant that we could all hang out together with plenty of room to spare. Every tiny little thing was thought of to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. There were little torches in each room, there were children's toys and books that were really high quality, there were little notes in places to explain how the house worked, the pool was lovely and warm, I could go on and on, it was just such a spectacular place to stay. The beach was a short walk away, and shops and restaurants were also close by. But the house itself was absolutely stunning. I couldn't recommend a place better to stay than this one and I don't have anything bad to say at all - not one tiny thing.

It is always so special to read that our guests have had a wonderful stay at the Balinese. This only encourages us to become more creative with the house and surrounds.

We do thank you so much for taking the time to share your holiday experience and hopefully on your next visit to Noosa we will still be able to ‘surprise’ you! Not that we need any encouragement to do this - it is rather a passion we share!

“Beautiful Balinese Beach House”
Reviewed 14 October 2015 for a stay in October 2015

This was our second trip to the beach house and was even better than we remembered from our last stay.

We had a couple of family members stay with us and it was so nice to have so much space. I love the day beds and little nooks that you hide away and read a book in peace!

Fully furnished and well thought out spaces. Fully kitted out kitchen, library, board games, pool toys and plenty of extra pillows/blankets.

Great location, close to Noosa and Sunshine Beach but you won't want to leave the house for too long!

It was a pleasure having you stay again at the Balinese and knowing that the changes we make are so appreciated. And we loved hearing that this time you shared with your family - it really is such a great house for enjoying time together especially as there are lovely spaces to 'disappear' to when you want to.

We look forward to your next stay and surprising you with our new Balinese sleepout which will be a favourite spot. I just know you are going to love the beautiful antique carved daybed that we have newly sourced for this area!

Absolutely beautiful, from the minute you walk through the Balinese doors you feel as if you are in a luxurious resort in Bali. Beautifully furnished, spacious rooms, lots of hidden spaces to relax in and enjoy the view of tropical gardens and sea. Everything you could ask for and more. A wonderful destination. Cannot wait to return.

We get so much pleasure in creating a luxurious retreat that allows our guests to feel total relaxation Bali-style. This summer the ‘sleepout’ conversion on the northern shuttered deck will be another pleasureable area to enjoy as a place to sleep or just relax - fully enclosed and screened - and with ocean views through beautifully intricate Kudus carved doors. The Balinese is forever evolving and we look forward to your next stay Melissa - and ‘surprising’ you!
